Dam Market is hailed as the busiest of its kind when it comes to street markets in the famous coastal region. Open every day from 04:00 a.m until 06:00 p.m, local craftsmen, farmers and fishermen gather to sell to locals and visitors an extensive selection of handmade garments, trinkets, seafood, fresh produce, and packaged goods.
Trading since 1974, the lively atmosphere and vibrant selection of items of Nha Trang Market makes it a popular place for travelling photographers and visitors looking to immerse themselves in the local culture.
It takes place inside a three-storey building with allocated areas. Local souvenir shops are situated in the front and middle areas, while there are meat and fish stalls in the back. Dried seafood delicacies are a staple in any coastal town in Vietnam, and you can find vacuum-sealed shrimp, seaweed, and seeds on the right side of the building
