WHAT TYPES OF ROOMS ARE AVAILABLE IN THE HOTEL?
Our room types are Superior, Superior Sky, Executive Superior Sky, Executive Deluxe, Premium Deluxe and Junior Suite. Please refer to “Rooms” for more details.
ARE YOUR HOTEL RATES PER ROOM OR PER PERSON?
The rates charged are per room (double occupancy)

DOES MY ROOM RESERVATION REQUIRE ANY GUARANTEE?
All room reservations require a credit card guarantee.
HOW DO I CANCEL MY HOTEL RESERVATION WITHOUT INCURRING A CHARGE?
It depends on the booking conditions therefore kindly contact our reservation team for more information.
HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN STAY IN ONE ROOM?
Each guest room can accommodate a maximum of three (3) people. Please note that the third bed will be a rollaway bed at an extra charge.
DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNTS FOR GROUP BOOKINGS?

DO YOU HAVE A PET POLICY?
We regret that animals are not allowed on the hotel premises.

WHAT ARE THE STANDARD CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT TIMES OF HOTEL?
The standard check-in time is 14:00 hrs. and check-out is at 12:00 noon.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO CHECK-IN EARLY?
It is sometimes possible to check in earlier; however this subject to availability. Ready and welcome, guaranteed - Let us know your arrival time 48 hours in advance of arrival and we guarantee your room will be ready by our check-in time policy (2.00 p.m.) otherwise the 1st night is free. If you arrive before check-in time, you will be able to check-in early only if rooms are available.
CAN I HAVE A LATE CHECK-OUT?
It is possible to have a late check-out as per room availability. Please note that for late check-outs between 14:00 – 18:00 hrs., an additional half day’s charge will apply at the regular room rate. Any check-outs after 18:00 hrs will be charged at a full day’s regular room rate.
WHAT BED TYPES DO YOU HAVE AND DO YOU HAVE TWIN, TRIPLE AND QUADRUPLE ROOMS?
We can provide either a king-sized bed or twin-bedded rooms. For triple rooms, an extra bed may be added at an additional charge. However, no quadruple rooms are available.
DO YOU HAVE ROOMS WITH A BATHTUB?
Yes, we do. However, only in the Executive Deluxe Room, Premium Deluxe Room and Junior Suite categories.
DO YOU HAVE NON-SMOKING ROOMS?
All guest rooms and hotel public areas are non-smoking. Dedicated smoking areas are provided for guests who wish to smoke in front of the hotel. Guests are not permitted to smoke in hotel guest rooms as per the law and may be subject to a fine if they do so.
ARE SAFETY DEPOSIT BOXES AVAILABLE AT THE HOTEL?
All guest rooms have a safety deposit box which is available free of charge.
IS INTERNET AVAILABLE AT THE HOTEL?
The entire hotel is set up for free wireless or broadband internet access and broadband and wi-fi internet is available in every room.
DO YOU REQUIRE A CREDIT CARD OR CASH DEPOSIT UPON CHECK-IN TO COVER INCIDENTAL EXPENDITURE?
Yes. As with most hotels, even when you have pre-paid for your room, we require a small deposit guarantee to cover possible incidental expenditure, such as when using the minibar, room service or dining at one of our restaurants. The incidental charge is THB 1,000, which can be paid by cash or credit card. If you decide to use a credit card, we will preauthorize the amount of THB 1,000 upon check-in. If there are no other expenses outstanding when checking out, we will contact the bank immediately to cancel the charge. Unfortunately, it may take between 7-14 days for the deposit to be cancelled due to bank policies and regulations, which are out of our control. Therefore, if you are only staying with us for 1-2 nights, we highly recommend that you pay this deposit in cash and we can then return it to you immediately upon checkout.
Travelling with Children
IS A BABYSITTING SERVICE AVAILABLE?
Yes, a babysitting service is available at an additional charge.
WHAT FACILITIES ARE AVAILABLE FOR CHILDREN?
At the hotel there is a Kid Swimming Pool on 14th Floor and babysitter service (24 hrs.) at cost.
ARE BABY COTS AVAILABLE?
Baby cots available upon request.
ARE HIGH CHAIRS AVAILABLE IN THE RESTAURANT?
Yes, they are.
WHAT AGE CONSTITUTES A CHILD AS MENTIONED IN YOUR POLICIES?
Children under the age of 16 sharing a room with their parents stay free of charge with one extra bed.
WHERE IS BREAKFAST SERVED AND AT WHAT TIMES?
A breakfast buffet is served in the Glass House Restaurant on the 5th floor between 06:00 and 11:00 hrs. Executive Floor guests can enjoy breakfast in the Executive Lounge.
HOW MANY RESTAURANTS DO YOU HAVE AND WHAT ARE THEY?

IS VEGETARIAN CUISINE AVAILABLE IN THE RESTAURANTS?
A selection of vegetarian dishes are available in every outlet.

General Hotel Information
IS THERE A SWIMMING POOL IN THE HOTEL?
The swimming pool is on the 14th floor and open from 06:00 – 22:00 hrs.
IS THERE A FITNESS CENTRE/GYM IN THE HOTEL?
The fitness centre is on the 14th floor and accessible 24 hours by key card. However, hotel staff will only be on standby from 06.00-22.00 hrs.
HOW MUCH PARKING SPACE IS AVAILABLE AT THE HOTEL?
The car park can accommodate up to 200 cars.
DO YOU HAVE A LAUNDRY SERVICE?
Yes we do.
DO YOU PROVIDE A FREE SHUTTLE SERVICE BETWEEN THE AIRPORT AND THE HOTEL?
We regret that there is no free shuttle service available.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO TRAVEL BY TAXI OR LIMOUSINE FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE HOTEL AND APPROXIMATELY HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
It takes approximately 50 minutes to get from the airport to the hotel by highway, depending on the time of day. The cost ranges from Bht 400 - 600 for a taxi plus an airport surcharge of 50 Baht.
CAN YOU PROVIDE A HOTEL LIMOUSINE/PRIVATE TOURS/TAXI RIDES DURING MY STAY AND TO/FROM THE AIRPORT?
An airport transfer can be arranged as follows:
Toyota Camry (one way) 1,950 Baht net (Maximum 3 persons and 2 medium sized suitcases + 2 carry-on suitcases)
Toyota Camry (round trip) 3,800 Baht net (M(Maximum 3 persons and 2 medium sized suitcases + 2 carry-on suitcases)
Mercedes Benz E-Class (per way) 3,000 Baht net (Maximum 2 medium sized suitcases + 2 carry-on suitcases)
Toyota Commuter Van (one way) 2,500 Baht net (Maximum 8 persons and 7 medium sized suitcases)
Toyota Commuter Van (round trip) 4,800 Baht net (Maximum 8 persons and 7 medium sized suitcases)
We have an airport representative to meet all our arriving guests and escort them to their transportation. The representative carries an Eastin Grand Hotel Sathorn Bangkok sign.
At Suvarnabhumi airport, for international flights and domestic flights, you will be met by our airport representative at the Arrival Hall - Exit B (GATE 5).
At Don Mueang airport, for domestic flights, you will be met by our airport representative at the Arrival Hall of Terminal 2 and international flights at the Arrival Hall of Terminal 1 (GATE 5).

HOW CAN I GET TO THE HOTEL BY PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION?
You can travel by train and BTS from Suvarnabhumi International Airport which will take about 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Transportation by The Airport Rail Link (This might not be convenient if you are travelling with a lot of luggage or large suitcases)
- From the airport take the Airport Rail Link (SA City Line) to Phayathai Station. http://airportraillink.railway.co.th/en/02_routing_services/01_sa_express.html
- From Phayathai Station walk to Phayathai BTS Station (N2).
- From Phayathai BTS Station travel to Siam Station. From Siam Station, change to the Silom Line to Surasak Station (S4). Surasak Station is directly connected to the 3rd floor of the hotel. http://www.bts.co.th/en/index.asp
It is not advisable to travel with luggage during the 07.00-09.00 hrs. and 17.00-20.00 hrs. rush hours.
A taxi from the airport will take a minimum of 50 minutes depending on the traffic and will cost about 400-600 Baht plus an airport surcharge of 50 Baht. For your convenience we recommend the hotel limousine, where you will be met by our airport representative in the airport’s arrival hall.
DO YOU HAVE SPECIAL FACILITIES FOR THE DISABLED TRAVELLER?
Yes, we have rooms specially equipped for disabled travelers. These rooms are available on request at no additional charge but are subject to availability.
IS A DOCTOR AVAILABLE AT THE HOTEL?
We have a doctor on call 24 hours.
HOW FAR IS THE NEAREST HOSPITAL FROM THE HOTEL?
An international hospital is 2 minutes’ walk from the hotel.
WHERE IS THE NEAREST BANK OR CURRENCY EXCHANGE?
The nearest bank is a 5 minute walk away. The banks in Thailand are open from 09.00 until 15.30 hrs., Monday to Friday only.
WHAT IS THE CURRENCY IN THAILAND?
The currency in Thailand is the Thai Baht.
CAN LUGGAGE BE STORED AT THE HOTEL WHILE I TRAVEL TO ANOTHER LOCATION IN THAILAND?

WHAT VOLTAGE DO YOU USE IN THAILAND?
The voltage in Thailand is 220 V.
WHAT IS THE VAT REFUND SYSTEM IN THAILAND?
Tourists are able to claim back the VAT on larger purchases when they exit the country. Most department stores display a sign to this effect and will provide the necessary forms for completion.
IS IT SAFE TO DRINK TAP WATER IN THAILAND?
The tap water in Thailand is not potable. Complimentary drinking water is provided in all guest rooms (2 bottles per room per day).
WHAT IS THE WEATHER LIKE AT DIFFERENT TIMES OF THE YEAR?
As a general guideline, the weather in Thailand is warm all year round. However, the weather is generally most pleasant from November to February when there are clear skies and sunshine. The “hot season” is from April and May, when temperature reach their highest. The “rainy season” is between June and September although it does not rain every day and usually the rain only lasts for an hour or so.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR IN THAILAND?
The dress code in Thailand is quite modest and so conservative dress is recommended. Shorts and sleeveless vests cannot be worn to visit a temple.
CAN I CONNECT MY LAPTOP IN THE ROOM?
Yes, laptops can be connected to the regular phone lines or to splitter boxes provided by the hotel. The entire building is also wireless enabled.
Shopping and Tourist Facilities
ARE THERE ANY MAJOR SHOPPING CENTRES NEAR THE HOTEL AND IF SO WHERE ARE THEY?
Bangkok’s main shopping district is only 5 BTS stops away and includes Central World Plaza, Siam Paragon and MBK. Asiatique The Riverfront is only 15 – 30 mins away depending on the traffic.
ARE THERE ANY CONVENIENCE STORES, SHOPPING MALLS OR RESTAURANTS IN THE HOTEL VICINITY?
The Robinson Bangrak Shopping Mall is 1 BTS stop away.
IS THE HOTEL FAR FROM THE SKYTRAIN?
The hotel has direct access to the skytrain at Surasak Station.
